This book shows the power of a praying mom. When Satan decides to attack her son, she did not back down.
This was basically a playbook for how she handled the spiritual attack on her son through each phase.

I wish the book was more about her son and the story of the attack, but I can see how this would and possibly will be valuable in the fitting I ever experience such a thing

Gah it’s so good

This ginormous box set felt more like a single 8 hour book. It flew by. I absolutely adore Rowander. The character growth in this book and the deep relationship challenges feel so real. The theme of grief is so felt.

Even though we don’t get graphic sex scenes there is a little more to it than fade to black. As a married adult, I’m totally fine with it, but when I imagine my daughter reading this as a young teen- probably not happening if I can help it.

Narrators…. They were good but the female sounded too old and the male was veeeery dramatic 🤣.
But the story is so good i still got carried away in it

I love this series!

This series is so so good. This book may be my favorite of the series so far. Secrets are revealed, love stories unfold, traitors are outed, and new characters come in to play - some we love and some we hate. I also love that it leaves you with a satisfying ending but a teaser of what’s ahead (no cutting it off mid-story and calling it an ending like a lot of authors tend to do). She picks so much into each book it feels like each one is a trilogy of its own.
I also read the book a few months back on kindle and I’m not sure if it’s the way it’s narrated or the fact that I multitask while listening but there were key things I didn’t hear but I remember from reading.
If there’s one thing I don’t love it’s the narrator. She does a good enough job, and the book is so good that Siri could read it and it would still be a fantastic story. But she’s definitely not my favorite.
All in all I highly recommend this book! I preferred reading it over listening, but listening is just so darn convenient if you’re addicted to great stories like I am.

Loving the storyline

I really enjoyed this book. The narration needed to be sped up a tad but I liked the narrator fine. Not my favorite but definitely not bad or annoying like so many can be.
I’m excited to see what happens next in the story! The only hold back for me is I’m not really in love with the main character. The first book is over and I still feel like I don’t really know her. She doesn’t seem to totally know herself either so maybe that’s on purpose.

So ridiculously good

This series is so so good! I’ve already read it and thoroughly enjoyed listening to it. The narrator does a fantastic job of bringing Vi to life.

And I just have to say, I never trusted that girl anyway. Good riddance!

Love this series- and such a deal!

There’s so much to love here. First of all, it’s an amazing series. The slow burn romance and tons of action heaped upon with characters and friendships that make you feel a part of the story has made this one of my all time favorites!

Then there’s the deal- 53 hours of listening for 1 book credit!!! INSANE!

The series changes narrators midway through. I prefer the first narrator - she created one of my favorite audible listening experiences. I will be more likely to listen to her books in the future. The second narrator was good as well.
