Historia
For years, Emma Carey was a regular young adult who would wake up and go about their day on autopilot, someone who would look at a sunset and feel unaffected, someone who was living, but not really alive. That is, until something happened that enabled her to really see life for the gift it is. Emma was in a skydiving accident that made her a paraplegic. This book is not just about Emma's fall from the sky and how she learned to walk without ever regaining feeling in her legs but also about the beliefs and ideas that helped her survive.

The Girl with Crazy Good Luck
Revisado: 02-24-25
I like when the author reads their own story and she definitely has a crazy story.

Great story even for adults

Great story! Not just a book for teenage girls. I’m 46 and enjoyed it immensely! I actually yelled out loud at a certain point in the story, I was so into it.

One of those rare gems you happen to stumble upon.

Best book I’ve listened to, so far. I used to think listening to books instead of actually reading them took something away from the story, but this book proved me wrong.

Least favorite in the series
Revisado: 03-23-24
Hard to listen to. The narrator left something to be desired. His inflection was all wrong, everything Nils said sounded like a question. And he put emphasis on the wrong words. The story, plot, was good, it was just difficult to get into due to the poor narration.
