Elizabeth Evans is an insanely talented narrator who brings this stellar story to a whole new level. From snark to sex to fight scenes Maas’ words were beautifully interpreted and expressed. I saw it all, felt it all, felt like I lived it all. Exceptional storytelling all around.

Fascinating look into the ideals and ideologies of the Time

Taking place at the turn of the 20th century, this case was a fascinating look into perceptions of virtue and accountability. The narrator gave a steady and weighted feel to to the story with her clear, concise voice and pacing. Excellent job with the somewhat antiquated language and sometimes repetitive narrative she was given. Thoroughly enjoyable listen of a true crime story!

Engrossing

I completely fell in love with this story and this world building. The narration was, as always phenomenal. TRavis Baldree brings these words and characters to life beautifully with a subtle touch and lots of intensity.

This needs to be an animated series or movie. Would be super cool. Can’t wait for the next book!

Enchanting from the first sentence!

Amanda Stribling brings a fresh, sparkling voice to this enchanting story which became the basis for the movie with Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell. The book is so much more though and is presented as diary entries.

A fun, quick listen that takes you back to a time of glamour - when people held salons and beautiful women reigned.

Baldree’s Brilliance

From the first five minutes I was sucked into the story with the excellent character voices Mr. Baldree produces. I felt like I could actually see them, simply from how detailed and varied he made each character sound. I was immersed from the beginning until the end. I will definitely be listening to EVERY audiobook I can find from this outstanding narrator!

Fully Immersive Fun

This was my first book/audiobook of this kind and I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to the genre! And what a deal to get 3 books for 1 credit!! The story was fantastic and a bit of a surprise which was slowly and expertly revealed to the reader.
The narration was exceptional and the depth of her character voices was truly amazing. I had a feel for each and every character and there were a ton!
I highly recommend this boxed set and look forward to listening to more of Ms. Chapman and Ms. Parsneau’s books/narrations!!!

It was nice to listen to a romance story that wasn’t too predictable and that unfolded at a good pace. It had some interesting elements to the story telling that kept me mostly engaged. Honestly, the best part of the story for me was the narrator. She played both the MCs beautifully (as well as the rest of the characters) not only with her voice but with the emotion she put behind it all. Great listen! I will definitely be looking for more books narrated by Ms. Lindsay.

Refreshingly candid

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I bought this book, but being a diehard Star Wars fan I was intrigued by the title. The story is about much more than Star Wars, or even Alec Guiness. It’s a snippet of a boys life that was in many ways affected by both. Sweet and entertaining it was over way too quickly!
Daniel Henning as narrator (as well as writer) brought a fresh, comforting feeling to his tale. His voice is warm and intriguing. It was almost like listening to an after school special as a kid, it left me feeling warm and fuzzy and a little more wiser about how a shared story can mean different things to different people.
