This is a fantastic read by Julia Jarrett. This book is book four of the Vancouver Tridents series. You get introduced to Southern Charmer Rhett and follow him as he finds his HEA with Evie, his teammate's little sister.

Evie is such a generous and easy going person that everyone wants to be her friend and she has a heart of gold. She saves a puppy and doesn’t have anywhere to take her. She can’t stay in the living arrangements at her school, finds out her older brother can’t have dogs so his best friend Rhett saves the day. The way these two take the time to support the other will make you fall in love all over again and in completely different aspects.

The narrators brought this story to life, the attention to detail down to the southern draw that is brought out makes this story that much more memorable.

Monty and Lark have been friends they both are apart of the Vancouver Tridents. They have been best friends for years and never took their relationship then that. Lark started dating someone serious during the time and Monty even put what feelings he had for her aside. Lark didn’t realize how much or how good Monty treated her vs her fiancé until it was time to plan the wedding.

When things are crossed between them, we all get a very special surprise. I feel in love with Monty for his cinnamon roll take charge of her woman way. Seeing the team and their friends surround them once the news breaks, just shows how much those two are love. The dual narration was perfect. I love listening to a great audiobook when the narrators make you fall in love with the characters that much more because of their emotion and what they bring to the table.

Sadie and Maverick

This is such a good fake dating story with a happily ever after. The end of book one sets you up for book two. I was excited to get to listen to this audio to fall in love with the bad boy of baseball. Sadie comes off as the goodie too shoe that works at the local hospital that puts baseball players together for meet and greets through their team. After Sadie and Maverick ran into each other while he was there meeting kids, they run into each other again at a local bar. Enter cameras outside the bar and a photo nightmare happens.

Their different back grounds bring together a great story of forever. Someone leaving a bad relationship because of a cheater and the bad boy cat dad finally finding a girl that breaks his outer hard shell. Seeing Sadie bring Mav out of his dark fog will make you heart melt. The narrators brought the best in this story to life and I cant wait to see where book three takes us.

Ronan and Willow

Willow goes on vacation to Hawaii to take time away working with her uncles professional baseball team, the Vancouver Tridents. After an encounter at the airport security, she finds herself in her seat beside the gentleman that caught her eye. They travel to the same location and get brought together at different times by fate. Fast forward, Ronan gets traded to her uncles team and everything that happened between them comes to a head and she doesnt know how to process this. Ronan is a single father that is looking for stability for his young daughter. She’s an absolute spitfire and the mini star of the show. I loved falling in love with these characters from start to finish.

Connor Crais and Angelina Rocca did a phenomenal job bringing this story to life through audio. The attention to detail hearing it brought out through words is great. They have moved into my top two narrators to auto buy. Definitely check out this audio immediately.

Garrett and Olivia

Garrett and Olivia were high school sweethearts, they thought they would be together through college but Garrett asks a question to her in hope she would follow him or choose his path but they had to go separate ways to find themselves and do their “own” journey. Fast forward years later, Olivia comes home to be apart of a wedding of her childhood best friend and her ex’s sister. Garrett and Olivia just fall right back into a comfortable balance and things get hot and heavy between them.

Surprise Surprise! Two lines later she finds herself in New York and trying to find the way to tell Garrett that shes pregnant. The amount of silence you hear at that point on the audio had my heart fall into my stomach. Listening to this complete story and the high and lows will make your heart melt or think ohhhhh my god. I absolutely think the narrators did a fantastic job on this book and cant wait to get a shelf trophy of this read.

Garrett and Olivia forever.

Phenomenal

I really enjoyed this book, the mystery and suspense were well written. The storyline is well thought out, lived the will they / won’t they roller coaster and the hot steamy scenes. Overall a great listen, that had me completely mesmerized the narrators did such a fantastic job .

Audio is perfection

This is the very first book I’ve listened to by this author. Im disappointed Ive haven’t read/listened to her before. Each one of these narrators brought their A+ game to the table. I literally went through this audio in two days.

Danielle (Dani, Cookie), bookstore owner with her best friend Luna, finally gets the dream she always wanted. These three men do not ignore her or ridicule her feeling or desires. Oh but they are all part of the local hockey team, the Chicago Racketeers.

Golden retriever Crew (Luna's younger brother) has loved Dani since he was 16. This man brings the crazy to this harem.

Cinnamon roll Michael the team doctor that encourages her writing. He just wants to be the one that takes care of each other.

And grumpy sunshine Nathan ( my favorite of the men) the team owner and wants Danielle all to himself until the other guys knock some sense into him. It’s better for them to be together than not have her at all.

Cant wait to go to book two.

💓Audio Update 💓

I’ve been a fan of Jade’s since her very first book. The utter excitement I had when I heard this book was coming to audio, I knew I had to re listen to this and hear the story come alive. The narrators JF Harding and Emma Wilder brought this story to live and the chemistry between these two re vamped this story for me for a whole new level. Definitely recommend an audio version to all my friends now!

This book was absolute perfection. I love an age gap romance. You meet Gianna as she is moving to NY to be closer to her dad. She’s moving from TX lost her mom recently and wanted to get a fresh start.

After an atrocious flight experience, she ends up at her dads job finally to get the keys to her Nanas Apt she left to her. Long pause.. enter daddy hotness.. (her dads boss) first impressions are everything.

Auburn tells Tony that he needs a date for an upcoming event and after going through a list of ladies Auburn says the girl in the lobby will do. Catches Tony and Gianna completely off guard. Tony goes to his boss questioning why he choose what he did and then Auburn gets told that the girl in the lobby is Tony’s daughter, Gianna.

Auburns and Gianna’s intense chemistry is one for the sheets. Wow it’s giving off major BDE and I’m here for it. He’s a big burly man until Gianna rocks his world and Auburn wants to do everything for her but the bedroom is where he’s alpha.

Seeing all the characters from TX that you can read about in Jades books or the cross over characters from AK Landows books.

Just an FYI.. i read this in one day so be prepared and comfortable once you start..

I loved the characters from the very beginning, the underlying hurt from both their pasts, growing in to their own kinda fun, and finding love and their happily ever after. The beginning of this book had me giggling until the “truth”” came out. Truly enjoyed this story and loved both of the MC. I have read this author before but love her writing style. The Christmas theme is top notch, good steamy scenes that keep you there until the very end.. The narrators of the story did a phenomenal job bringing these two characters to life.

💓Audio Review 💓

Let me tell you, you need to listen to this book through audio. The amount of alphahole Kieran is just makes things tingle. Holy Moly!, this is the first book I’ve done in this series and now I need to go back and do the rest of this series. Mafia has always been on of my favorite tropes to read. Their story line crossing between Irish and Italian was hot. That was definitely not something Ive read before with an older mafia leader doing an arranged marriage right out the gate when the book starts. These narrators showed up and showed OUT!. Lexi and Tyler did a phenomenal job with bringing their characters to life. I will leave you with this:
