Historia
Seven days are all it takes for Rune Sarasin's life to completely derail. It starts with a routine heist: lifting a pouch of rubies from the Bangkok hotel room of wealthy smuggler Charles Lemaire. Rune nearly gets caught when Lemaire's goons give chase, but she manages to escape with her boyfriend Kit. Then Kit delivers some terrifying news: his teenage sister Madee has gone missing. They track her cell phone to the dangerous Khlong Toei slum, but the trail ends there. The night gets even worse when Rune realizes she lost the pouch of gems somewhere in the slum while searching for Madee.

Action packed!
Revisado: 04-19-25
If you’re looking for a heart-pounding, edge-of-your-seat thriller, look no further. This novel delivers nonstop action from the first page to the last, with barely a moment to catch your breath.
Rune is the kind of protagonist you want in your corner—strong, capable, and absolutely fearless. Whether she’s outsmarting enemies, surviving impossible odds, or making split-second decisions under pressure, she never backs down. And yet, there’s a depth to her that makes you care about more than just her survival. You root for her, cheer for her, and feel every hit she takes.
The pacing is relentless in the best way—tight chapters, high stakes, and twists that actually surprise. If adrenaline had pages, this book would be it. A must-read for fans of high-octane thrillers and unforgettable heroines.

Historia
After the old gods warred and drove themselves to extinction, the cataclysm of their fall shattered the land of Vigrio. Now, power-hungry jarls carve out petty kingdoms, and monsters stalk the shadow-haunted woods and mountains. A world where the bones of the dead gods still hold great power, promising fame, and fortune for those brave - or desperate - enough to seek them out. As whispers of war echo over the plains and across the fjords, fate follows the footsteps of three people. All three will shape the fate of the world, as it once more teeters on the edge of chaos.

So good!
Revisado: 01-04-25
Twists and turns and I genuinely fell in love with this world. Usually I don’t read books written by men with FMC’s but I was recommended it by a trusted friend and oh my goodness. Gwynne didn’t disappoint and I’m happy to say I’ll be reading more books he’s written soon!

Historia
Set in the mountains of southern Appalachia, Demon Copperhead is the story of a boy born to a teenaged single mother in a single-wide trailer, with no assets beyond his dead father’s good looks and copper-colored hair, a caustic wit, and a fierce talent for survival. Relayed in his own unsparing voice, Demon braves the modern perils of foster care, child labor, derelict schools, athletic success, addiction, disastrous loves, and crushing losses.

Who wouldn’t root for Demon? This story was a real and gritty look at life in Appalachia. Great characters who represent the best and the worst of humanity.

A true thriller with edge of your seat intrigue. The characters were multifaceted and real which made the story so much more believable. One of the best books I’ve read in a while. Highly recommended.
