Historia
Hillbilly Elegy is a passionate and personal analysis of a culture in crisis - that of white working-class Americans. The decline of this group, a demographic of our country that has been slowly disintegrating over 40 years, has been reported on with growing frequency and alarm but has never before been written about as searingly from the inside. J. D. Vance tells the true story of what a social, regional, and class decline feels like when you were born with it hung around your neck.

This is a brilliant and compelling memoir. Vance tells a truly real American story. He pulls no punches and tells it like it is. He is clear concise and interesting as hell .
God Bless him and his family.

Historia
Over forty years since Thurman Munson's death, Thurm: Memoirs of a Forever Yankee revives the life of the famous New York Yankees catcher. In collaboration with longtime Yankee historian Marty Appel, Munson chronicles in his own words his path to the majors, his career success, his approach to being the first team captain in nearly forty years since Lou Gehrig, the Yankees return to glory when they won the 1977 and 1978 World Series, the breakdown of his body as he gave his all to the sport, and his absolute dedication to his wife and children above all else.

Historia
For decades, Kathleen Buhle chose to play the role of the good wife, beginning when, as a naïve young woman from a working-class family on the South Side of Chicago, she met the dashing son of a senator in Oregon. Within months, Kathleen found herself pregnant and engaged. Determined to build her family on a foundation of love, Kathleen was convinced her and Hunter’s commitment to each other could overcome any obstacle. But when Hunter’s drinking evolved into dependency, she was forced to learn how irrevocably a marriage can fall apart under the merciless power of addiction.

A Sad Sad Story
Revisado: 06-18-22
A story of a woman who started out in love with her husband but lost those feelings due to the fact that he was a liar like many other addicts .. Mrs Biden and her husband the infamous Hunter Biden were unable to over come his instability and like many in their generation misunderstood the difference between being in love and actually loving each other The selfishness and self centeredness of the current generation got in the way of dealing with the tragedies of life.. Life is hard it’s not a drama it’s real and love is supposed to last forever. It’s easy to understand the factors that caused Mrs. Biden to end her marriage. Her husbands constant lying and infidelity were like a slow torture. The discussion of her desire to discuss her self actualization in this book would have been better have been left out in my opinion . At the end of the day the effects of being married to an addict and a liar were so deep and damaging to the family that that was the real story. Mrs Biden’s telling of the story proved to be both extremely personal and in many ways didactic for the reader .Mrs Biden and her daughters remain in my prayers.
