Everything
Revisado: 02-29-24
This book is everything. By far the most relevant book I have read in reference to managing people and leadership. So many ideas, a lot we do, some we have lost sight of, and the bonus opportunity for self reflection. 10/10 recommend this book 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Historia
Women can be heroes. When twenty-year-old nursing student Frances “Frankie” McGrath hears these words, it is a revelation. Raised in the sun-drenched, idyllic world of Southern California and sheltered by her conservative parents, she has always prided herself on doing the right thing. But in 1965, the world is changing, and she suddenly dares to imagine a different future for herself. When her brother ships out to serve in Vietnam, she joins the Army Nurse Corps and follows his path.

The first book was rough. I could have gone without A LOT of the details and the massive amount of characters. At the end though I’m like okay, it’s picking up! Hopefully book 2 continues to be exciting and fast paced. Butttt nope, just super slow again and a bunch of females who were super into their betrothed but suddenly have reservations and are avoiding them. I tried to return but apparently audible won’t let me. I’m convinced that the books only get good the last hour and end with a cliffhanger so you buy the next, only to be disappointed, and repeat.
