I had no idea of this history and was wondering the whole time if this could be true or not. I eagerly listened and re-listened. The narrators did a great job. The story was compelling. a great listen!

Historia
As a child in small-town Oklahoma, Elizabeth Warren yearned to go to college and then become an elementary school teacher - an ambitious goal, given her family’s modest means. Early marriage and motherhood seemed to put even that dream out of reach, but 15 years later she was a distinguished law professor with a deep understanding of why people go bankrupt. Then came the phone call that changed her life: could she come to Washington, DC, to help advise Congress on rewriting the bankruptcy laws?

Starts out slow....
Revisado: 01-25-12
If you could sum up Delivering Happiness in three words, what would they be?
Fun, inspiring and inovative.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Delivering Happiness?
Each turning point in Tony's life. I expecially liked how he started to give up so much of what he amassed when he begain to believe more and more in Zappos.
What about Tony Hsieh’s performance did you like?
I liked his calmness, but yet got to know him and understand the small changes in his tone and inflection. He did a great job,
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No, it did more than that, it made me feel happy, it made me feel inspired, it challenged me to make changes that matter and to work on bringing happiness to others.
Any additional comments?
This book starts of slow and I about quit reading it, but felt compelled to keep going. I was glad I did, it really picked up and took off. It gave me hope that one person can indeed still make a difference.
