Hard to get through
Revisado: 01-26-22
I could not get past chapter 6, so I cannot attest to the rest of the book. The narration was slow and the story a bit boring, at least the way it's being told.

In the summer of 1990, Eddie Vedder left the surf and sun in San Diego to join a group of friends working to put a new band together in the Seattle underground. Within months, they were anything but underground; they’d found their lead singer, and Vedder went on to lead Pearl Jam on a global takeover of ‘90s culture. This book really struck a chord for me. So much of what transpired affected me on a personal level and made me reflect. It was a long story, but I felt Sandra and all of her siblings through the telling. Glad I chose it 😀

Wonderful Storyline
Revisado: 12-29-19
I loved this book. I couldn't stop listening. The way the story lines of each of the characters intertwined with one another kept me interested.. My favorite character was Larau Lee, being a true southerner, I totally understood her...lol. The narration was great, which is as important as the story itself.

Wanted to like it....
Revisado: 12-20-19
After reading the reviews listed for this book I was hoping to love it, unfortunately that was not the case I found many parts of the book so boring and ongoing that I actually had to skip chapters..For me it was just a bit too drawn out and couldn't hold my attention.
