Historia
The Old Man and the Sea is one of Hemingway's most enduring works. Told in language of great simplicity and power, it is the story of an old Cuban fisherman, down on his luck, and his supreme ordeal, a relentless, agonizing battle with a giant marlin far out in the Gulf Stream. Here Hemingway recasts, in strikingly contemporary style, the classic theme of courage in the face of defeat, of personal triumph won from loss.

This book was very well written, although a bit long. The story continue to drive forward He ended abruptly for such a long book but you’re gonna attach the characters the symbolism, the story, the world, the legends the mythology.

Both the performance and the rating of this book are excellent. The resolution is unlike most kids books still with surprises, but every loose and tied up intense parts of the book raise the stakes unlike most kids books can really enjoyed it.

Historia
Pocket has been Lear's cherished fool for years. So naturally Pocket is at his brainless, elderly liege's side when Lear demands that his kids swear to him their undying love and devotion. Of course Goneril and Regan are only too happy to brownnose Dad. But Cordelia believes that her father's request is kind of...well...stupid, and her blunt honesty ends up costing her her rightful share of the kingdom and earns her a banishment to boot.

Characters and dialogue
Revisado: 11-10-21
Both main characters Torres and Fallon are the worst at what they do. You would think that a Marshall who sacrificed her family would be better at her job. Or a sibling of one of the best criminal families would not depend on sheer luck for every event. Just error after error. Super annoying. Not to mention all the added racial and gender cliches.
The dialogue was clunky and not convincing. I’ve never hear anyone have conversations the way these people talked. The reader was excellent. It was like age did the best with the script she was given.
