I just can’t
Revisado: 01-16-25
Sophomoric character development.
I don’t care how good your science or your plot is if the characters aren’t believable - and these are just ridiculous. It’s like a teenage boy’s idea of what adult relationships are supposed to look like.
And the dialogue… cringe cringe cringe. A world renowned physicist, wondering how enhanced a man’s penis is … and they’ve really just only met?
Go away.

A bit uneven, but well worth a listen
Revisado: 04-16-24
Well plotted fairly written. Enjoyable. The narrator was fantastic with only a few emphasis hiccups. Somewhere in the last third of the story, it appeared to be rushed. Seem to get a little bit more juvenile, and the character were acting… Out of character. Moments of levity were inappropriately spaced in light of the enormity of the lossthe main character should’ve been feeling.

Horrid narration
Revisado: 04-17-23
I don’t know whether or not I would’ve enjoyed the story. I spent so much time fighting my intense irritation with the narration. The narrator seems to end each sentence in the same exact tone. It’s like fingernails on a black board or a squeaky sneakers on a waxed floor, and if I were you, I would check out the e-book section to see if the story is worth buying there. But, i wouldn’t waste a credit on the audiobook.

Hmm. Yeah nah
Revisado: 12-13-22
I couldn’t care less if it’s “woke”. I am fine with the pronoun things, except when it confuses the story, which it sometimes does. It also wasn’t well integrated with the story, sticks out like a sore thumb. It’s why I don’t use they/them in my writing.
However— The dad with a new wife half his age 6 months after his wife died… with kids almost her age? Just. Ew.
