Historia
The true story of what took place in Donald Trump’s White House during a disastrous 2020 has never before been told in full. What was really going on around the president, as the government failed to contain the coronavirus and over half a million Americans perished? Who was influencing Trump after he refused to concede an election he had clearly lost and spread lies about election fraud? To answer these questions, Phil Rucker and Carol Leonnig reveal a dysfunctional and bumbling presidency’s inner workings in unprecedented, stunning detail.

well as good as this book was, it sure makes it hard to understand how come we're almost a year later and these people that cause the insurrection are still walking the streets freely. it's hard to imagine in this country that you can commit a crime and because you're supported by one political party you're not prosecuted. pretty amazing!

Valuable information
Revisado: 04-21-21
overall the book was very pleasant. although, the information has been repeated over and over and over many times by many people it seemed a little bit overdone for anyone that has ever listened to any of the teachers talked about on this recording or otherwise. I think Robin Byrne is an excellent author and she helped bring thoughts to people that would have otherwise not been exposed. I encourage her to keep up the good work.

Historia
Do you want to know how to analyze people? Some people have become so adept at lying and covering their tracks that it’s hard to distinguish when they may be lying right to your face. When you do realize they’ve deceived you, and done it so artfully at that, you feel betrayed. Possibly even foolish, kicking yourself as that thought “why didn’t I see this all along?” keeps lingering on your mind. Could you have prevented yourself from being lied to or taken advantage of? Could you have protected yourself from those feelings of hurt and betrayal?

Outstanding!
Revisado: 07-29-20
I was amazed to hear things about Donald Trump that I've always suspected and speculated. Mary the author was amazing in her articulation and conveyance of the story about her uncle and a person who I feel is slowly or probably quickly disseminating this country. It really put things into perspective for me that he is doing this more unconsciously than consciously. My mother who is a devout Republican and Trumpster, like so many others continues to support and follow him no matter what. I am truly disheartened by the commitment of those who want to support him in his ego-driven maniacal efforts to destroy anything, anyone, everything and everyone around him. Thank you Mary Trump for your strength and willingness to open the pages of the story to your family.

Historia
As President Trump’s national security advisor, John Bolton spent many of his 453 days in the room where it happened, and the facts speak for themselves. The result is one of the few White House memoirs to date by a top-level official. With almost daily access to the president, John Bolton has produced a precise rendering of his days in and around the Oval Office. What Bolton saw astonished him: a president for whom getting reelected was the only thing that mattered, even if it meant endangering or weakening the nation.

Revisado: 07-10-20
Good accounting of his time in the White House but nothing new or earth shattering. Liked it and couldn't wait for it to end.
Take away: How difficult it would be to do your job and the right thing with a narcissistic, pathological rule breaker (for personal gain) like Trump.
Simply one of the worst humans ever to run this beautiful country.

Historia
Every day we work hard to motivate ourselves, the people we live with, the people who work for and do business with us. In this way much of what we do can be defined as being motivators. From the boardroom to the living room, our role as motivators is complex, and the more we try to motivate partners and children, friends and coworkers, the clearer it becomes that the story of motivation is far more intricate and fascinating than we've assumed.

This book is definitely worth listening to. I enjoyed some of the psychological discoveries it revealed and how we naturally react to things. I thought it was especially interesting that we become more attached to something that we help create.

Historia
In this stunning audiobook, Malcolm Gladwell takes us on an intellectual journey through the world of "outliers" - the best and the brightest, the most famous, and the most successful. He asks the question: What makes high-achievers different? His answer is that we pay too much attention to what successful people are like, and too little attention to where they are from: That is, their culture, their family, their generation, and the idiosyncratic experiences of their upbringing.
