He talks about the distance between stars as proof UFOs can't be extraterrestrial. But travel from different points in time is tech feasible? Both are not currently available but then why discredit one but not the other. I am open to both with evidence. But I stopped after hearing is arguing.

GOES OFF ON A TANGENT

First, I am inclined to believe there are Aliens. I recommend "The Alien Agendas" by Richard Dolan. With this book, he goes off on a tangent in Chapters 6 and 7 when I said enough. He writes about a family that sees aliens claiming trees. A strange woman is going into their barn, and the mom asks her daughter to find what she wants. WTF? The tree incident goes on for hours with many aliens in the tree but no one thinks to call the police? GIVE ME A BREAK.

Then the author goes into a JUNGIAN analysis of the story. First the story is not even credible and you want me to waste my time with an analysis of something so self contradictory? I advanced to Ch 7 and more. BYE returning it. There are far better books on this subject.

Good History and the Challenge

The discussion concerning possibly multiple Alien cultures examine us. Their agenda is unknown.


Speculation on their reasons and giving the problems that we need to address to find the answers. A good extensive history of the phenomena and the development of a unbiased discipline to study the issue. Admittedly he is a believer. But a rational one.

I did note a subtle ant-vax ideology. But nothing extensive. To be fair personal freedom can have enemies in both government and corporations.

I highly recommend this book. He is generally a believer but not a cult.

Not About Donald Trump

This book is about the history of racism in America. It is NOT about inside info on The Donald. I felt she didn't have anything more to say beyond her prior book so she goes off on side spin. I realize that she did not more contact with him especially after her prior book which I liked. BUT being she is a psychotherapist I was hoping she would add her professional insights about the Donald's behavior that transpired after her first book. I am a Bernie Sanders liberal. My family came from Ireland to work and be exploited in the mines. My great grand dad died of miners lung. I did not realize he had white privileges according to DR. Trump'! My grand father escaped the mines to work as a steam fitter. A company accident almost killed him. Covered in burns with no government welfare to help him. With a strong family they survived. My dad worked as a kid worked then two jobs as an adult. My mom joined him in the workforce. White privilege Dr Trump? It is people like her THAT GAVE US HER UNCLE. Again I am a liberal. I support welfare. I support ending racism. Just don't attack my ancestors. Just look at how this almost gave the GOP a majority in the Senate.

DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR INSIGHT INTO HER CRAZY UNCLE!

Felt I was being duked.

Sincere Intel Professional Lays It Out

I thought Michael Hayden did a great job with this book. It was both personal and professional. If you want a hate-filled book go elsewhere., While he attacks Trump it is not mean-spirited but factual. Republicans who value their nation over their tribe will also like this book. Remember Mueller, Comey, Rosenstein, and the FISA court judges are all Republicans.

The Intel community does not belong to any administration but the American people. They are not the deep state but deep patriots.

Right Winger Whines False Equivalency

I heard the author on "Morning Joe" I believe. Being I am a political blogger with a psychology degree I figured this book was about how Trump is normalizing lies and turning Americans into "people of the lie". The quote is from a conservative Author concerning evil. Well, Birther Donny Trump is evil. Yes, the author and I agree on that. But she wants us to believe that we on the left had it coming to us.

I am NOT a dogmatic liberal. But I purchased this book to understand the psychology of Trump and his lies. I did not purchase it to be lectured by a right winger that we liberals had it coming to us.

THE AUTHOR DOES NOT UNDERSTAND THE FALLACY OF FALSE EQUIVALENCY. I am fed up with talk of "liberal news media biases" when the real issue is CORPORATE NEWS MEDIA BIASES. The author tries to say that the nice Tea Party folks did not hate Obama because he is Black. They said that was from infiltrators. YaDa YADA.

AGain if you want to buy this book to learn about how Trump lies then you will get a lesson from the author in false equivalency. She preaches the rights of "religious freedom to discriminate". No I purchased this book to learn about Trump's normalization of liars not to hear the pity pot cry of Right Wingers.
The Author lauds Ted Cruz whom she worked for. Hmmm. What do you call it when someone attacks you, then attacks your wife and then attacks your dad as being part of the conspiracy to kill JFK?

Well, Trump did all that to Ted Cruz! So what do you call the term when someone does all of those attacks to you and your family THEN you endorse him? ANSWER: "Texas Values"!

I returned the audiobook after the 3rd chapter.

Millennials UBER ALLES

What would have made Earth Is Hiring better?

From the description, I thought this book was written by a progressive. Instead, it is a millennial having an identity crisis. She actually says her generation's genes are SUPERIOR. The books cover appears like a hippie from the 60's - cool it is a new generation taking up the torch but from her perspective, THEY ARE THE MASTER GENERATION. AGAIN SHE EVEN SAYS THEY ARE EVOLUTION HIGHER WITH SUPERIOR GENES. She is a HYPOCRITE (read the full review.)

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

She preaches that her tribe (Millenials) will not allow corporations to abuse them. Then she worships STEVE JOBS. This is the guy who made billions exploiting MILLENIALS in CHINA. She talks about building a business so her mom could retire. Yet these same MILLENIALS in CHINA tried to help their parents. They worked making APPLE PRODUCTS at FOXXCOM. They worked long hard hours. Their pay was somewhat higher than in the interior of Chian where they were recruited. These poor MILLENIALS worked like dogs making STEVE JOBS rich. They worked so hard, long hours and stuck with the conflict of their pain or not being able to help their parents just live. The conflict was so intense for these MILLENIALS that they COMMITTED SUICIDE.

The company had to place suicide prevention nets around the barracks they lived in. You see MS. Kelly while you "suffered" with your "divine discontent" - a term she took from Hippie writers, these young Millenials in China suffered under SLAVERY conditions so you could get your TOYS. This is how your HERO Steve Jobs made his billions. They committed SUICIDE so build your TRIBAL IDENTITY on that!

This hippie says POWER TO THE PEOPLE.

WARNING Book is over 1/3 FILLER Music!

What disappointed you about The Secret Prayer?

I RESENT that OVER 1/3 of the book is music that I did not ask for and that was not listed in description. Joe is normally good but I will not be a victim of his NON-SPIRITUAL MARKETING!

I love that he uses the term "white board" "Chalk board" for the Divine. The problem is that unethical writers PAD their books with massive white space and Joe does this on an audio book level with the inclusion of Music. I bet the authors paid him for the exposure! Or at the least gave him the music free for the MARKETING ADVANTAGE of their exposure while Joe gets to up the length of his book with FLUFF!

I wonder if Amazon changed their algorithm as to percentage paid authors due to length. Regardless with the added FLUFF the book was MISREPRESENTED as 7hr and 13Min when it is in reality 3-4 hours.

DO NOT MAKE EXCUSES FOR THIS SIMPLY BECAUSE YOU LIKE THE AUTHOR. I like Joe Vitale and would normally BUY ANYTHING HE MAKES OR PUTS HIS NAME TO. But now let the buyer beware.

IF Joe listed this music and HONESTLY said over 1/3 was filler music then I would not be critical.

I tested the remaining chapters but could not listen to them when I am being taken for a ride!

What was most disappointing about Joe Vitale’s story?

He did not practice spiritual marketing but added FLUFF FILLER MATERIAL to make the length seem long. DO NOT MAKE EXCUSES FOR HIM EVEN IF YOU DO LIKE THE MUSIC. This was an attempt to add to the length of the book. Note there is nothing wrong with white space in a printed book to make it legible. But an audio book with 1/3 to 1/2 the chapters filled with unknown music is not what was listed and not what I wanted.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Narration fine just do not like being taken for a fool with filler content.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

He may have reduced his 1 to 1 correspondence belief in the Law of Attraction and that would be good. Maybe he read Voltaire and realized slaves did not attract their conditions but I could not listen beyond chap 2.

JOE PRACTICE SPIRITUAL MARKETING. BE HONEST IF YOU WANT TO ADD FILLER CONTENT. THEN IT IS OK. I really do like Joe Vitalie and will still buy his works AFTER I first examine them more carefullly.

Good Book

This book is loaded with information. I also like the authors blogs which are very informative. Some reviewers did not like the narrator. I found his narration fine but could understand why some did not like it. (He sounds somewhat authoritarian)

My only criticism is that perhaps the authors should have listed a web-page or a PDF download for the links. Listening to long URLS is a waste of time since most of us are in the gym, walking or driving a car when we listen.


Note if you are an experienced blogger already making money then this book might be a review for you. But for someone like myself this book is fantastic.

I liked the book so much I purchased his physical book, went back to reading his blog and paid to join his forum.
