More tales to come, but this concludes the story that started with the Convoy of Carnage.

I hated the hybrid storyline

I loved the first 4 stories in the Zombie Road series. I actually adored them. I would regularly recommend the series to friends and family. However, when the series introduced the time machine and space travel I lost my passion for the story. I continued to listen to the series with the hope that it would get better, but it only got worse. I still believe that Eric A. Shellman is an awesome narrator and David A. Simpson is an excellent writer, but the hybrid storyline with Jessie and Scarlette, with the aliens, space battles, time travel, alternate universes, androids, and AI were just horrible and disappointing. They just didn't fit with the original ZA theme of the book, and in my opinion, it detracted from the quality of the entire story. I will never recommend this series to anyone, ever again. It was such a disappointment to see my favorite ZA series end up sounding like a rejected episode for the Doctor WHO series. (Please note I actually love Doctor Who).

Great story. Poor narration.

I really Enjoyed the 1st installment in this series, so I was greatly looking forward to this the 2nd book. Overall, the storyline continues to be great. However the Narrator Spoiled this story for me. The narrator read the story in a slow monotone voice. Even intense action segments sounded dull and boring, as if the narrator is about to fall asleep.

The story had a lot of Promise but didn't deliver.

I really wanted to like this story, but I actually struggled to finish it. I didn't get a sense of excitement or urgency from the writing or delivery of the story. The characters are literally watching people being torn apart, but the sense of danger or panic just doesn't come through in the writing. I found the author a tad bit verbose and the narration flat. Disappointed.
