I had heard of this book but never took the time to read it. What a treat this was. As a Christian pastor, this book gave me a deeper understanding of the complex and systemic influence white Christian nationalism has on our world. To think this brand of religion is being preached to our children abs and reinforced in many of our churches and politics is beyond sad. In fact it's repugnant. The universal church has much to repent for if God's community is to reclaim its soul. This was a well researched and well written book. I highly recommend it.

Great book. The narration was amazing. I enjoyed it highly. I've read other books by Greene but this one is a favorite for sure.

This book was just right. I feared a book about money would be bogged down in technical language but this book was the opposite. I gleaned practical advice from it and I'm excited to make changes in my life. It is a good book. Short and profound. I recommend it.

I have read Oord's work before and I became a fan. It truly expanded my thinking into the uncontrolling love of God. I adapted this thought into my own spiritual formation, as an open and relational God made more sense. Although I wish he would have pushed the envelope a little further in some places, I appreciate his willingness to start the conversation that allows us to critique and reimagine the God of faith. I enjoyed this work highly.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I came across Dr. Tabor via a podcast he did for his colleague and friend Dr Bart Ehrman. I was intrigued with his depth of knowledge and opted to listen to the book to see his angle. I was not disappointed. This book provided many fresh insights into the historical Paul and made me rethink how I had grown to understand his theological positions. There were several moments where I had to rewind and listen again to ensure that I heard what I felt I heaed but it was a welcomed occurrence. It was a delightful insight into the message of Paul. I highly suggest it.

This book was a good listen. The thesis of the book was well developed and offered great advice from the scriptures.

I do not recall how I happened upon Smith and this movement but I can honestly say, i feel at home. I listen to the podcasts but just recently decided to listen to the audio book. I was not disappointed. In this brief but thorough book, the author gives clarity to his message of Greatest Commandment Theology. Whereas the podcasts offer an introduction, this book is a full entree. I gained a deeper understanding of Smith's theological lense and found myself nodding in agreement with many of his conclusions. There are places I wish he would have pushed the needle further but the fact remains this is a great book to begin one's "theological evolution." This book is destined to change the face of the church and for that I am glad. Thanks Kristian and TFC. Your word is reaching and restoring people you cannot imagine.
