Longhorn delivers again.

David Longhorn is rapidly becoming one of my favorite authors.

I suck at reviews so I'll just keep it short. It's rare that we can get legends from centuries ago done right in today's world. Longhorn accomplishes that. Bowers is brilliant as always. I highly recommend following both of these gentlemen.

An interesting listen

The author painted a wonderful about all of the things most of America is afraid to talk about, but wrapped in a ghost story. I love it. It's worth the purchase.

It's Star Wars, and it's Marc Thompson.

I couldn't get into the story as much as I normally do. I honestly don't know if it was due to the story, or due to the fact that Marc Thompson kept pronouncing Marchion's name wrong. If it were a different narrator that would be one thing, but he's been the one for the entire adult series. Not sure why that wasn't caught. That doesn't take away from his performance though, you get caught up in his enthusiasm.

I just can't anymore...

Marcus was one of my favorite characters. I can't wait to see Alex die, and then hopefully Shane will too. Ron Ripley has a great gift of keeping you gripped while taking away everything that you like. Thom Bowers is amazing, like always.

I absolutely love to hate Shane Ryan

Ron Ripley is great, rapidly becoming my favorite author. However, this dude Shane Ryan, I just don't get the love affair. He is arguably the worst character I have ever come across. The poster child for what's wrong with the human condition. Do as I say, not as I do. I can steal, assault, murder but you can't do any of those. What's worse is that we're told all the time that Shane Ryan is a good man. There is nothing good about what he does, or who he is. As for the narration, what can I say other than the fact that Thom Bowers is great.

Great combination of writing and narrating

First I have to start by saying, Shane Ryan is possibly the worst "hero" in the history of heroes. I did not like him at all, he was such a cliche that it was annoying. However, the actual stories were so amazing that even Shane Ryan could keep me away. The premise of a hidden cult using ghosts for a desired end goal is pretty good. It's also something that you could see happening if these events actually happened in real life because the human condition is an awful condition. Thom Bowers did an amazing job of narrating, that's it, that's all I can say about him. I will definitely add more of this combination to my library.

Zahn, Thrawn, and Thompson... Star Wars ... Bam.

The heck with all of the movies. if not for Thrawn, Revan, and Bane... the Star wars universe would have only been just a really boring movie. Zahns writing is amazing, Thompson's performance is amazing, Thrawn is amazing. the only complaint that I can think of is, Thompson's voice for Heir to the Empire is different then it is in Thrawn. I get it, but it took a long time to get past it.

I'm ashamed that I didn't like this audiobook.

I have loved everything that Patrick Logan has written. As a read, this isn't bad, as a listen, I couldn't get through the first 2 chapters. I have no previous experience with the narrator, but as Beckett, not even close to what I was expecting, I will not be getting anymore audiobooks with Mr. Pollak as narrator. He was boring, sounded a little too old for what I imagined Beckett would be, didn't bring the energy that Mr Pauley brought to Beckett from the Drake series.

A very nice conclusion

I was a little reluctant with this series after the first novel, the second rolled around and it got better, along comes the third. While being the longest in the series, I believe it was the best. Focusing more on Agatha and less on the horseman was a refreshing change in the second but amazing in the third.

Zahn and Thrawn go together like PB & J.

This book is a nerds dream Too finally see two great villains in the same arena is a must. I could not stop listening, knocked it out in one night. As a fan of the EU, I hope that Zahn writes one more book that ties in Thrawn, Paelleon, and Mara Jade...
