I lived both this and the previous story Worship. It was quite different from typical with regard to the characters and how the plot played out. so much heat and feelings btwn the two MCs. Narration was great! let's face it, once I saw Aiden Snow's name it was a one-click for me. Get both in the series; guaranteed to become a favorite and you'll likely relisten.

I get that this story is intended to be short and sweet but it wasn't my jam at all. The characters and dialogue seemed too simple to me. I wonder if I'd have felt the same if I 'd simply read it and not listened to the audio. The narration was flat to me. The pacing was off and the narrator's voice did not draw me in at all.

Good story; didn't like the narration

I enjoyed this story very much in the sense that it was different than the cliche: man meets man, hook up, live happily ever after. There were twists and conflicts that made it more original, but not overly "angsty".
The narrator/narration was a different story...
The narrator presented in a slow, almost monotone voice. I ended up having to increase the narration speed in order to finish. There were inflections here and there; but overall I felt he did not capture or portray the depth of feeling, that should have been conveyed during some pretty emotional moments. Moreover, for one of the MCs, the narrator used a tone and affect that unpleasantly brought a Forrest Gump-type voice/ image to mind.
Nevertheless, the story was good. When listened to, at increased speed, the narration was tolerable.
