Historia
Amelie has always been a survivor, from losing her parents as a child in Paris to making it on her own in London. As she builds a life for herself, she is swept up into a glamorous lifestyle where she married the handsome billionaire Ned Hawthorne. But then, Amelie wakes up in a pitch-black room, not knowing where she is. Why has she been taken? Who are her mysterious captors? And why does she soon feel safer here, imprisoned, than she had begun to feel with her husband Ned?

Historia
Cass is having a hard time since the night she saw the car in the woods, on the winding rural road, in the middle of a downpour, with the woman sitting inside - the woman who was killed. She's been trying to put the crime out of her mind; what could she have done, really? It's a dangerous road to be on in the middle of a storm. Her husband would be furious if he knew she'd broken her promise not to take that shortcut home. And she probably would only have been hurt herself if she'd stopped.

The main character is freaking annoying
Revisado: 08-17-21
I really like reading/listening to books by B.P Harris but I don’t understand why the main character is always so stupid. Cas has got to be the worst written character I’ve ever seen. Don’t get me wrong I really don’t buoyed the book but I spent most of the time being annoyed at how stupid she was lol hey way she acted throughout the book was so annoying I wanted to punch a wall. Other than this fact I he book was really good I just don’t get why the main character is always this over dramatic cry baby 😒.

Historia
In the affluent town of Weslyn, Connecticut, where most people worry about what to be seen in and who to be seen with, Emma Thomas would rather not be seen at all. She’s more concerned with feigning perfection - pulling down her sleeves to conceal the bruises, not wanting anyone to know how far from perfect her life truly is. Without expecting it, she finds love. It challenges her to recognize her own worth - at the risk of revealing the terrible secret she’s desperate to hide.

The best book I’ve ever read
Revisado: 07-26-21
Now I have the physical copies of all 3 books and I love them all. Now I am not much of a reader unless is like a crime/mystery book but still I barely read books lol. I stumbled across the his book while I was working in retail at the time and after stocking them I picked it up and started reading it to pass the time. It’s wasn’t until halfway through my shift that I realized this book was really good and I was already on chapter 6 I think the story is really eventful in a sense and I can actually picture myself he story played out in my head a really good series to read.
