I enjoy the actor reading this story but she mispronounced Caleb through the entire series. Instead of KAY-leb she said CAW-leb. It drove me nuts but I love her voice acting in story telling. I’ve listened to other books she has narrated and enjoyed them immensely. This series was interesting and I look forward to getting more books by this author.

Unexpected and Delightful

This story was not predictable and so sweet about two lonely people becoming best friends then more. Some stories I listen to are background while working or crocheting. Really enjoyed figuring out where the author was leading the characters. Will be looking into more books by this author.

Funny and Accurate View of Pregnancy

What most men are thinking but rarely say. I know I was crazy during my one and only pregnancy. This is funny in that it is true. The narrator’s delivery is spot on. The writer is amazing and love the characters created in this series.

All the actors and sound effects were amazing. It was an audible movie for each book. Very impressed. I’ve read Jane Austen books repeatedly in my youth. These retellings do justice to my imagination.

The story is good but the actor’s choice for the best friend’s voice is grating. If the story wasn’t as good I would have deleted it.

Not all voice actors are good, Last story suffered

This is a personal preference. I do not like Veronica Fox’s voice. It’s flat with no inflection and I have to focus really hard to know what is going on in the story. I had to stop listening it was that frustrating. So monotone. Very disappointing. Don’t know if I like the author, Skye Warren, or not. I will NOT chose her books if read by Veronica Fox.
Love the other voice actors. I choose stories sometimes based on who is voicing the story. They bring the characters to life. Zachary Webber, Desiree Ketchum, Elena Wolfe, Maxine Mitchell, and Joe Arden are amazing at how they can pull you into the author’s stories.
