So glad I held out til book 4 and wow was that a journey of amazingness and what a great paced progression! Not many cultivation series can consistently do this, just wow… simply I am amazed! I cannot wait for book 5!

Wasn’t what we expected, was still great…

I love this series, and I love the world creativity to it, although coming into book 11 I’m pretty sure this isn’t just me? Although we were expecting that power up to the next level in this book. Don’t get me wrong it was a great listen and continuation to the Defiance of the Fall series, although it just feels like we were left on a cliff hanger where the whole book we were expecting the main character to have his breakthrough. Nonetheless it was great, and I see why it wasn’t included in order to add the other story lines going into the upcoming activities in their sector, I’m happy with it (just a little antsy) and look forward to book 12!

A bit slower than the rest of the series…

The voice acting is great as usual in this series, the performance was great and I really enjoy this series. Although this book just felt like it dragged certain topics on with explanations that we mostly didn’t need, that being said it was a slower paced book with not as much action. Seems this book in the series is just the buildup for the next book to come… so kind of cliff hanger in a way… love the series, but this book was just different…
