I could not get into the story because of the narrator.

I’ve watched the shows and although the character is quiet and reserved until fight mode takes place the narrator’s voice paints the character as an old man. Unlike Jim Dale who brings you into the story the narrator makes it hard to embrace the character.

The Bloodlines series is a lot of of fun. Although to have the back story reading the Vampire Academy books first makes sense - I believe this series can stand on it's own, and I may actually enjoy it more. When wearing my headphones and then spontaneously laugh out loud. In the vampire series I felt sorry for Adrian and actually thought he was a pain in the tush but, now I find myself laughing at Adrian's antics, crying and his misfortunes, and cheeringThe amazing character he has formed into.

What disappointed you about Executive Orders?

The narrator read in a monotone voice and it was difficult to listen without the need to nod. You find yourself trying to follow the story but because the narrator read in one tone and when he took a breath you were waiting for him to need oxygenz

How did the narrator detract from the book?

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

I had read part of the book and loved the story line itself that all I focused on was the narrator. The book is very long, and by chapter 4 he was not "telling" you a story but was reading it and when he took a breath it was deep. I thought by another hour he'd need oxygen.
