I consume historical romances like some consume air. I had never read any of this author, but decided to take a chance. So worth it!! This is the first book in a long, long time that has truly surprised me and kept me on edge until the very end. It still has all of the fairytale romance and steaminess that I love - but with a fresh new take! Just read it already.

Read this book!

A review that I read before reading this book described how the main character just rambled and spouted nonsense the entire book really intrigued me. After reading I really loved this book!! Welcome to what it looks like to be a functioning neurodivergent adult!! It was great to see a main character who may think or act differently from what would be “normal” to most be depicted in a beautiful and successful way! Bravo! Great narration and excellent read overall.
