It's very, dry, but it's all there. Downloading the accompanying .pdf is talked about in the first 3 minutes of starting the book/file and it's constantly referenced.

This book isn't fancy, doesn't explain extra stuff, it's kind of like a plain English version of a reference chart.

I'm in the process of learning SQL and feel I got a good sense of what it's capable of. It'd be good to listen to it while sitting in front of the computer ready to go.

A Minecraft Novel?! It's actually pretty cool!

If you're a fan of the game or know someone who is, this is a fun novel that follows someone from the very beginning, never before even seen the game to expert level. all as seen through the eyes of the character in the game. Between the great story telling of Max Brooks and fun personality Jack Black brings to it, this book is great. Highly recommend it for fans of the game.

The Airforce history I didn't know

I always enjoy when the author reads their own books. The Bomber Mafia was no exception. I got this book because I snjoy Malcolm Gladwell's other books not knowing anything about what this book would be about. Definitely still enjoyed it though.

While it isn't his typical this is why we do what we do type book, it was a this is why they did what they did type of story that explained the origins of the Airforce and how they view(ed?) the way air based warfare should be even if it wasn't possible at the time.

The book was also meant to BE an audio book so that it incorporates clips from old recordings, movies, interviews, and shows giving you a sense of what people were being exposed to at the time. I'd definitely recommend this book.

GM's guide to winging it!

I'm new to GMing but usually fly by the seat of my pants. This book has helped me to figure out what I should focus on to make a better game for my kids. Also there were some great ideas for better fleshing out locations/worlds on the fly with minimal prep (if that makes sense). Several of the tips in this book I've also seen GM's, that I've enjoyed playing with, employ with great success. I'd recommend this book for anyone who's new or wanting to help their players have a better time.

Just read this again for the 5th time, during COVID-19. Eerie similarities between the way they handled stuff and how we've been handling stuff. Great read!

if you're looking for a how to book this is it it talks about hypnosis from beginning to end along with some history, a few beginning to end examples, and additional references. highly recommend it!

GREAT breakdown of habits, inception to hacking

I really enjoyed this book. It shows you how a habit is made how to track it down and then how to change it if you'd like. It shows you how habits can be both good and bad. the book also shows you how you can use habits that you don't even realize you're using but still somehow control your life. Highly recommend this book!

I haven't read/listened to the actual book, so I don't know how it compares. However, stand alone, this is very informative and was exactly what I was expecting/hoping for in a summary book. Just the facts and key points including the information, without a lot of fluff that's usually required to keep people's attention. Thank you Noah Stewart and Kevin Theis!
