Historia
For two and a half centuries, America has been held together by the belief that if you work hard and conduct yourself responsibly in this country, you will be able to prosper and leave a better life for your children. But over the past decade, that idea has come into crisis. In this story-driven manifesto on the future of American work, author Jay Richards argues that such thinking is counterproductive - making us more fragile, more dependent, and less equipped to succeed in a rapidly changing economy.

unlistenable from chapter 10
Revisado: 12-06-19
I liked it until it became choppy starting with chapter 10. Terrible quality, absolutely unlistenable.

Too many charts
Revisado: 08-23-19
Maybe actually reading this would be different. The entire book is one graph or chart after another. I'd have enjoyed it more if Mr. Murray would describe the situation and draw a conclusion without constantly referring to specifics. This was like listening to a math book.

Good to know
Revisado: 08-16-19
Tort law towards the end wasn't as exciting to me personally as it seemed to be to the lecturer. On the other hand, some of the constitutional law was actually pretty scary.

I'm a 32 year old man brought up in the Russian culture. Men don't cry. Unlike in the Western culture, it is unacceptable under any circumstance. Today, I cried for the first time in 27 years.
