Some of the advice is ok, but I couldn't get past 1/3 or 1/2 of the book because it kept adding these bits about how to be a jerk, or how to be fake. Choose a persona and practice faking being that "person"? Eww. Force people to go through a huge amount of trouble that will (somehow) make them beg to work with you before you even talk to them? Some of the advice reminds me of a sleazy 70's guy with his hairy chest and gold chain sticking out, thinking that's how to get a woman. "Practice raising one eyebrow and blowing a kiss from across the bar... yeah, baby..." (my example, not the author's words, lol)

I'm in school to become a Registered Dietitian and I am so happy to see there are people ahead of me in these areas of the digestive microbiome and who treat people as a whole. I can't wait to start practicing, and I'm sure I will be recommending this book to future clients. If you want to follow the diet he recommends, I'd suggest buying the hard copy, because there are lists of foods, meal plans, recipes, etc. If you're confined to the audio book, have a notebook & pen ready for those parts.

This is a great podcast with a lot of high quality tips, thoughts, and advice. They're all serious and useful, yet lightheartedly put out there, with a constant acknowledgment to keep a balance and take care of ourselves. I listened to all of them so far, and just finished the Dec 30th one with Suki Hon, ND. That was a gem of an interview; everyone should hear it! Our health is SO important (physical and mental), and as I have always said, "stress kills!"... strong words, but it's true that stress affects our physical bodies and it does nudge us toward chronic problems and diseases little by little. Although that episode was my favorite so far, all are great, and I look forward to more!
