Historia
Get out of the firefighting business and into the business of developing the people who develop your profits. Successful salespeople rightfully become sales managers because of superior sales records. Yet too often these sales stars get stuck doing their old sales job while also trying to juggle their manager role, and too often companies neglect to train their sales managers how to excel as managers. That's the "sales management trap," and it's exactly what The Accidental Sales Manager addresses and solves.

Not a bad way to spend some windshield time
Revisado: 10-31-15
What did you love best about The Accidental Sales Manager?
There were some good tips in it for managing/measuring.
What about Ax Norman’s performance did you like?
It was easy on the ears.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
No.
Any additional comments?
Although the author clearly has a sales method which he prefers, much of what he wrote could be adapted to any method. It is not groundbreaking, but I did gain some good brain exercise from it.

If you're feeling abused or pressured by your prospect, you're doing something wrong. You should never have to forfeit your self-respect or fake enthusiasm about your product in order to make a sale. Likewise, your prospect should never feel manipulated by you. In fact, the buyers should be the ones to close the sale. Your role should be to help them help themselves.

What disappointed you about Exceptional Sales Management?
This book would be considered lame even if it had been written for a module for a 6th grade class studying business.
What was most disappointing about Mike Le Put’s story?
Stop.. write it down NOW.... must have been uttered 500 times.
And that which was to be written was below basic.
Have you listened to any of Mike Le Put’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
No
Any additional comments?
No
