Seems to be a solid collection of Sherlock Holmes stories.

If you like the modern SH shows and movies, it is great to see where all the ideas originated. It is also fascinating to me to see how certain aspects are exaggerated in media and socially (for example, not once did Sherlock say "Elementary, my Dear Watson."
I was a bit surprised at much of the ethnically charged stories. The author definitely had some racist bent, and some of the statements can be a bit of a shock when heard in modern times.

A Humorous Take on Science Fiction

I found myself checking for a sequel about half-way through, which is a good indication that I enjoyed the story! The story probably could have lost about 25% and been slightly better, perhaps taking the use of metaphors down to a more reasonable level.
That said, I definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys SciFi and Comedy, especially anyone who is a fan of Douglas Adam's work.

Another Great Story by the Great Neil Gaiman

You just can't go wrong with any story written and read by Neil Gaiman. While another great short story by him, this version really suffered by the musical accompaniment in my opinion. In many places, the music was just too loud and didn't seem to add much overall. I'd definitely recommend trying to find a version without the music added.

A fun take on a few historical figures

The story was interesting, and the writer kept me invested the entire time. Personally, I felt some of the sound effects were unnecessary, and that's really all that kept me from giving the story 5 stars.

One of My Favorite Series'

Especially considering this was written in 1938, this is scifi at its best (with no robots or world-conquering aliens, mind you).
The narration is fantastic - beats the cassette audiobook from many years ago!
