Comprehensive and Compelling

I appreciated the depth, detail, and context of this biography of President Carter. I lived through his presidency and was aware he had been operating behind the scenes for the rest of his life, but I was missing the zoom in and zoom out that this provided.
I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to learn more about Carter’s remarkable character and life.

I like Odenkirk’s acting but somehow missed his comedy. It’s like Mad Magazine was rewritten by Dave Barry.
No-one will be the worse off if they miss this. Not worth the time.

I was expecting a story not a stage play complete with whispers and mumbling actors.
Granted I only listened to 30 minutes of it, i don’t think I am missing out on much.
Full disclosure: this was part of the free monthly Audible original content so I had little personal investment in it.
Some of the other AO I have really liked though!!

I downloaded this as part of the Audible originals Series. The story started interesting enough, but then dragged. Relied too much on surprise plot introductions (Deus ex Machina).
Ok for a quick YA listen for a family road trip. Adults can skip it (not a satisfying payoff)
