A window into a small town

I loved the 3 methods of story telling that intertwine. It's written like it's made for the screen (which I know they did, but it's been 30 years since I maybe saw parts of it...) and it's so real and point blank in your face with the truths of life. There were a few ideas and social concepts that were a times unabashedly placed in the forefront, and other times seemed quite abashed and perhaps edited out. At times the towns folk felt very progressive and at times they were much more conservative and time appropriate. I wonder what the author would have changed if this were written now, in a more open and accepting world.
I guess I'll go watch the movie again (for the first time?)

Refined writing with an intimate performance

A surprisingly human story from a God...

I'm loving Miller's takes on these epic heros and God's. Circe is a far lesser known goddess, and I imagine that opens her story to more interpretation. But honestly I couldn't have been better! The journey she takes us on is amazing, wondrous and so relatable despite its immortal distance.
Circe walks the line of God and mortals. A unique experience. But her basic qualities and wants are so similar to anyone who has an odd family and longs for a purpose of their own.
Can't wait for Miller's next book.

Its sooooooooo goood! Weir has an uncanny way of communicating in the most unbelievably simple ways! But he gives you so much!
Its excellent writing, some crazy science, out of this world problem solving, and a story and hero that will make you get excited for exploration of the unknown!

Neil Gaiman has done it again!
This is such a beautiful and fulfilling story! I find that there are so many layers to all of Gaiman's stories and this one has me coming back multiple times to read. I always find something so new and meaningful in it.
I love reading this book both to my self, and having Neil read it to me on Audible... his voice is like no other!
Put it on your must read list!!!

the background sounds are fine... the music was caned. didnt add anything... if anything it was distracting....
the voice actors were Killin me...
if your gonna do a production like this then get the girls to talk the girl parts and guys talk guy parts... at very least they should sound similar... and the chick was way to dramatic for the dualogue... oy!

loved this and the first... but this one was a bit of the same... I'm seeing a pattern... hot girl who has low self-esteem, gets into trouble and hot guy who likes her rescues her... and she doesn't listen/tries to rescue herself/gets into more trouble and ends up handcuffed to something...
I think if the writing weren't so freakin funny I'd have bailed by now, but I'm thinkin I might just go ahead and read the next one!
also, everyone has flip phones... hahaha!
