9 Amazing chapters! Aaaah, I wish it was longer but here again the author has painted a beautiful world full of mysterious fantasy, fantastic characters, and more depth to the world around them than I've seen in many other scifi novels! KEEP THEM COMING ADDISON!!!

I would love for this to become a serries, I'd love to explore more of Griz's world and find out more about what happened on the way back! It's a great book for quarintine, because just like the end, it springs a little Joy back into my heart.

I cannot begin to explain how disappointed I am in this author; let alone in this thing he degins to call a book. Not only are all of the characters bland and without any real sense of agency, but the narrative itself reads like the dregs of a 4chan thread that some neck bearded gun-nut sweat pure mountain dew over when his pornhub account got banned. This book insights violence and forced sexual assault over people of color, women and the lgbtq+ community in a way that makes Game of Thrones look good, and I am sorry that I even took the time to read it. Joe Abercrombie, you need an industrial sized can of W-D40 and a crowbar to remove your own head from betwixt your own buttocks. Maybe then you can apologize to every woman you degraded by publishing this trash.

The plot line had some holes and seemed like it was trying too hard to be funny. The satire it was obviously trying to portray was over run by what I thought to be slightly racist stereotypes, under developed characters, and an unnecessary romance.
