Interesting if not a bit slow

I enjoyed this book, I think? I didn’t hate it but some parts were so slow. It gets better about halfway through but I hate waiting that long and the end felt very predictable. However I really enjoyed the narrators, they were great!

Beautifully written, but oh so boring!

I could picture the scenes, see the the marsh, the shack & the creatures but my goodness did the thoughts have to be so drawn out? So little happens in this book and it’s just beyond slow. I liked the narrator and some parts of the book, but would never recommend.
