Love the premise. Loved the story. Love seeing the world through so many perspectives. Only issue for me was a huge 5 year time skip that inexplicably happened in the middle of a mission. Aside from that I loved the ending.

Great Series

I saved my review for the end. All of the Last of Us and the Ruins were greatly enjoyable. I was so wrapped into the characters that I often chose another chapter, or 8, rather than sleep. The story consumed my imagination and I hope TW will return. Of the hundreds of zombie books I have read, this is hands down top two. I enjoyed the twist on the "normal" zombies, the story of how they came to be, the range of emotion you experience through the characters. I will always return to look for more stories from this world, hopefully I will find a new entry in the coming years.
