Great book, robotic narrator

I LOVED this book and the storyline, but I found myself having to turn it off a few times because the narrator’s voice sounded so much like I was having Siri read it to me.

What a story..

I was aware of the trigger warnings, but it was still a very heavy and hard read. I’m not so sure what to think about the ending… it was a good book and definitely thought provoking, but I’m struggling to make sense of it all and what the main takeaway is supposed to be, that might just be a me problem though, lol.

It’s outlandish but unputdownable!

Obviously, it’s far fetched, but I love this series. The twists are always twisty and the ending leaves you dying to jump right into the next one! Modglin is great at what she does and quickly becoming a favorite author of mine.

It wasn’t a 5 star read, but it was very good and kept me coming back. I really enjoyed Vega and getting to know her and her quirks. There’s definitely some trigger warnings to be mindful of, so check those out if needed, but I would recommend to anyone who likes mysteries/crime books.

I really enjoyed this book and finished in just a couple of days. I loved all of the different characters point of views, and how the story unfolded and would definitely recommend to my friends.

While there’s no big twist or anything like that, it does keep you entertained wanting to know how everything plays out.

Definitely worth a listen

I was surprised to see this was a freebie, and I really enjoyed it. I loved the complexity of the two women and how each thinks about the other one yet feels about themselves. It’s so true of how hard women can be on ourselves.

The storyline was a bit far fetched, but it was a good listen nonetheless.
