Captivating!

This book had me laugh out loud multiple times which is rare for me! Not only that, but it was truly captivating, it kept me listening, wondering what would happen next. Each character has their own charm and I loved that. I wasn't sure if I was going to like part two switching perspectives, but it worked SO well and it made the story experience so much more enjoyable and tied everything together.

Very Cozy, Kiki's Delivery Service Vibes

Loved it! It reminded me of Kiki's Delivery Service if Kiki was a murder mystery with ghosts, tea, and baked goods! Very different from that story of course, but gave me the same kind of warm fuzzies. I liked that Sella was a relatable character. I would listen to this again.

Cozy Mystery

Wind in the Willows meets murder mystery. Very cozy listen. Great when you just need to escape for a little while and curl up with characters that feel familiar and comforting. Descriptions of delicious food was a nice plus!

Cozy Witchy Romance

This book feels like a warm cup of tea after some really steamy sex! It's the perfect combination of cozy and sexy. This will be a repeat listen!

Misleading

I'm actually a little miffed that I bothered with this book.

First, the sample for the book is misleading. The first chapter is written clearly and narrated clearly as well by one narrator. This is the clip they used for the sample. However, the rest of the chapters are narrated by someone else and are choppy and hard to follow.

Aside from that, the content is very...strange. Like the sentence structures are difficult to understand. It's almost like it was poorly translated, which it may have been, I don't know. But I had to listen to parts of the book over and over again to try to understand what the author was saying.

On top of all of that, I'm fairly certain the reviews are fake. This is the part that frustrates me the most. nearly all of the reviews were posted on the same day. They all say similar things, but when you read them, they don't quite make sense. Some of them aren't even about the book!

Repeat Cozy Listen

Very cozy, imagery is beautiful, handfuls of plant and herb talk, and of course wine! I've listened to this book countless times now. It's one of my favorite cozy books. It makes me feel like I'm living in a cottage out on a vineyard.

Was skeptical but then quite pleased!

After reading reviews, I was worried about not having the visuals from the book. Turns out, I didn't really need them! I think they did a great job of describing their organizational tactics and it was really enjoyable to listen to. Totally motivating too! I feel like inhave the confidence to tackle my own organization projects now. :)

Not my Favorite

I was hoping for something a little more historical. This book certainly has some great history in it, but it felt muddled with a lot of opinion as well. It was like listening to a report in would have written back in high school. The narrator was...goofy. His reading was very dramatic which sometimes worked and sometimes didn't and made me cringe a little at points. Overall, it was just okay.

once again, very enjoyable! the characters feel relatable and the story keeps me interested. I love Joann as a female lead. she's inspiring but also so real.
