Historia
QuadFilium is a secret, private military group, well-funded, with the highest tech spy equipment, aimed at eradicating human traffickers worldwide. Wade Maley, QuadFilium's top operative, finds himself hidden in a conference room in a compound owned by criminal mastermind Alistair Watson. Wade is meant to kill this man and escape... and he does... barely, because his pilot, Teska Lando, the slang-slinging Texan, saves his butt. But that's just the beginning of their adventure.

An exciting look into the vast importance of maintaining one’s integrity
Revisado: 10-17-22
This book had me interested, excited, and laughing at appropriate times. The clever strategies and daring-do of the protagonist kept my interest and had me wanting more. There are some important lessons as well in this work that are presented in an impactful and true manner that doesn’t feel dry and had me introspecting about the true importance of maintaining one’s integrity despite all apparent reasons not to. And even though there may have been times my integrity went out, it’s not the end. There’s always a way to restore one’s value of self!
I do feel it would have been better if it was all just Heath Miller as the performer. I get why there were multiple people, but he’s of my favorites, so maybe I’m biased :)

Historia
I am Thomas Hunter, a paranormal investigator and part-time ghost charmer. I walk a thin line where the shadows of perception reshape the definition of reality. I used to be a cop. I used to have a wife. Then I died. When I woke up, I had three entities in my head, a bad case of amnesia, and an insider's view of the occult.

Great read - excellent new take of some of fantasy’s oldest ideas
Revisado: 01-21-22
I really enjoyed this book and devoured it very quickly. I enjoyed the take on vampires, lycanthropes, and witchcraft - it was all explained in a way I hadn’t heard before but didn’t feel like someone trying to be different, just a new explanation of it.
I will say that the performance seemed a bit rushed at first, and I don’t know if I just got used to it as it went or if the performer just got more comfortable as it went on. But that didn’t really detract much from the overall story.
I’m certainly interested in listening to more in the future and have already recommended it to others.

This was a fantastic listen and had me wanting more every step of the way. One thing I enjoyed was that nothing felt “too convenient”. It all flowed together very well and I started coming up with my own theories and emotional attachments that were constantly evolving throughout the story. I didn’t feel there were any twists just for the sake of a twist. It all felt natural and completely justified, unlike some other books I’ve read. I look forward to more from this author!
