Exciting story. Good performance.

Enjoyed this very much. I was puzzled by some who thought the ending was sad. It's a tragic story and the ending was fitting. Held my interest throughout. I've completed 2 by this author, and thoroughly enjoyed both. I hope he brings this protagonist back to solve more mysteries! She was excellent.

Is she insane or psychic? Private investigator Taylor Morrison has just managed to put her life back together after the death of her husband when strange things begin to happen around her. Things that can’t be explained. Taylor begins her desperate search for answers only to discover that others know what she can do, and they’ll stop at nothing to control her and the ability she now possesses - even if it means using the people she cares about against her.

Not what I expected
Revisado: 01-29-25
It was a pretty interesting story, and she did pretty well narrating it. But the lead character came across as a middle aged, backwoods, not intelligent, perpetually grouchy woman. She was very unlikable. Not my idea of a protagonist. Way to much reference to prayer. And for heaven's sake, someone teach her how to pronounce debacle. Also generally poor grammar. Not my taste at all!
