Historia
When Angela met Jason Powell while catering a dinner party in East Hampton, she assumed their romance would be a short-lived fling, like so many relationships between locals and summer visitors. To her surprise, Jason, a brilliant economics professor at NYU, had other plans, and they married the following summer. For Angela, the marriage turned out to be a chance to reboot her life. She and her son were finally able to move out of her mother's home to Manhattan, where no one knew about her tragic past.

First by author. Really kept my attention.
Revisado: 08-26-16
My first by this author. Kept my attention the whole way through. Good mystery type book without the gory details murder usually entails. In genre with gone girl (but not quite as good) and girl on a train.

Lucy Wakefield is a seemingly ordinary woman who does something extraordinary in a desperate moment: She takes a baby girl from a shopping cart and raises her as her own. It's a secret she manages to keep for over two decades - from her daughter, the babysitter who helped raise her, family, coworkers, and friends. When Lucy's now-grown daughter, Mia, discovers the devastating truth of her origins, she is overwhelmed by confusion and anger and determines not to speak again to the mother who raised her.

Good listen
Revisado: 02-24-16
Good listen for those who like a lighter mystery/crime novel. Got a little drawn out towards the end, but overall a good listen and worth the credit! Occasionally I'd stay in my parked car to listen just a little longer.

Good read, awful reality
Revisado: 08-30-15
For those looking for a read that challenges your faith in the justice system versus your faith in humanity, this book is very enlightening. It is more so a book that puts reality into perspective. The University of Montana is not alone in their struggle with sexual violence in higher education. It happens throughout this country and beyond. Let this be a lesson for young women and men embarking on adulthood. I would recommend this book to high school seniors in order to bring clarity to what challenges may lie ahead. From both victim and naive perpetrator, this may help in providing clarity. I would not recommend this book to parents sending their child to college... It will just terrify you!
This book sends a message to all regarding the nightmare of rape. End sexual violence.

Historia
At some point, every one of us embarks on a journey to find love. We meet people, date, get into and out of relationships, all with the hope of finding someone with whom we share a deep connection. This seems standard now, but it’s wildly different from what people did even just decades ago. Single people today have more romantic options than at any point in human history. With technology, our abilities to connect with and sort through these options are staggering. So why are so many people frustrated?

It is like one long stand up! Aziz is spot on with his evaluation of today's romance.
