Historia
Viktor Orlov had a longstanding appointment with death. Once Russia’s richest man, he now resides in splendid exile in London, where he has waged a tireless crusade against the authoritarian kleptocrats who have seized control of the Kremlin. His mansion in Chelsea’s exclusive Cheyne Walk is one of the most heavily protected private dwellings in London. Yet somehow, on a rainy summer evening, in the midst of a global pandemic, Russia’s vengeful president finally manages to cross Orlov’s name off his kill list.

Painful listen. No more Silva books for me.
Revisado: 06-21-22
Daniel Silva should have released a warning , in BOLD RED, in the begin of the book that he was going to shove his political, ultra liberal, delusional personal opinions down the listener’s/reader’s throat. In my opinion, this book was a waste of time and money. It is the last Silva book I will purchase or recommend. In fact, I will encourage others to avoid his work.

Whining, greedy, lazy main character. Narrator sounds like a tween. No wonder Audible is giving away the books. The worst of the worst. I would not consider downloading any of this writer’s work again.

Historia
She over 50, feisty, and oh so good at solving mysteries. Patricia Fisher is not your average woman. To start with she lives in a 73-room manor house and travels with a Jamaican butler who is part ninja and fakes his Downton Abbey accent. Then add to those facts that she just opened a private investigations business and throw in the worrying bit where people keep trying to kill her. When a climber suspiciously falls to his death and a local artist has her dog stolen, Patricia finds herself investigating two cases that seem to have no motive and no clues.

Painful to listen
Revisado: 08-20-20
With over 400 audio books in my library, my opinion is, this is the worst narrator ever. I gave it my best shot, but after one hour I can no longer listen. I will contact Audible to get a refund on this book.
I liked the Patricia Fisher Cruise series even though there were multiple narrators. Steve Higgs writes fun stories and they were an easy listen. I will check back in the future to see if this set is recorded using a different narrator. The story does have a good start.
