I am very glad I read/listened to this book. But I'm even more glad that I met the author at the airport in DC! 😁
I had the privilege of being sung a beautiful song next to at my gate by John! What a fantastic memory!👍 John has a great voice and made testament right before my eyes that he has conquered a lot of fear!! How many people do you know could suddenly break out in song at an airport gate? I had only asked him what instrument was inside his case! Well, and I had also decided to purchase this book on Audible rather quickly, which may have impressed him. ✅
I am actually not a Christian (my amazing Dad was a devout atheist!) but I STILL highly recommend this book. John makes a very good case for recognizing the our fears... and conquering them! At first I didn't think I had any fears stopping me. But the second time I listened to the book however, I noticed that he said you might be controlled by your fears anywhere from 10% to 90%. That 10% opened the door for me and i subsequently could jive more with the book's premise. I realized I have some fears that i could conquer. For example, I'm certainly not bold enough to sing a song to a complete stranger, (well not so complete because his coffee cup has given him away)... and certainly not right at a gate in a busy international airport!!! 😆🎉
Thank you John for a beautiful musical 🎶 moment after our January DC adventures and thank you for writing and reading an amazing, well-put together book with a very important message. Kudos to you! 💃
