Historia
It was a crime so brutal, it changed the lives of even the most hardened homicide cops. The Haas family murders left a scar on the community nothing can erase, but everyone agrees that convicting the killer, Karl Dahl, is a start. Only Judge Carey Moore seems to be standing in the way. Her ruling that Dahl's prior criminal record is inadmissible raises a public outcry, and puts the judge in grave danger.

Tami Hoag is at the top of my list
Revisado: 02-19-20
I really enjoyed this story. The narrator is not my favorite, but I don't hate him either. I had a little bit of a hard time at first but liked the story enough to keep going. By the middle of the book I had gotten acustomed to him and it went better. I loved the little bits of humor thrown in to some of the dialogue. Looking forward to the next book!!!

Historia
Everyone in the small town of Denton is searching for Isabelle Coleman, a missing 17-year-old girl. All they've found so far is her phone and another girl they didn't even know was missing. Mute and completely unresponsive to the world around her, it's clear this mysterious girl has been damaged beyond repair. All Detective Josie Quinn can get from her is a name: Ramona. Currently suspended from the force for misconduct, Josie takes matters into her own hands as the name leads her to evidence linking the two girls.

Awful Narrator
Revisado: 02-14-20
I am having a hard time getting into this book because of the narrator. She sounds like she has a childish and sarcastic tone. It is so distracting I cannot get into the story. I had to stop listening and move on to another book. I will definitely avoid this narrator in future.

Historia
An online video of a girl clawing at the ceiling of her own grave could be the worst thing FBI forensic psychologist Zoe Bentley has ever seen. Perhaps even more disturbing is the implication of the video’s title: “Experiment Number One.” Zoe and her partner, Special Agent Tatum Gray, work as fast as they can to find the monster behind the shocking video, but soon another one shows up online, and another girl turns up dead.

Good storyline. I like Brittany. There was a couple of places I fast forwarded through because I am an animal lover and can't stand to listen about their torture. I will definitely read more of Mike's books.

OK story
Revisado: 01-03-20
I enjoyed the story, although I was able to figure out who did it almost as soon as the character was introduced. I struggled a bit with the narrator. When reading a couple of the Male roles, it sounded more like she was in pain or very sick and struggling to speak. I got annoyed enough that I almost stopped listening at one point, but continued on. I have not yet decided if I will try this author or narrator again or not.

Historia
Investigating the discovery of the body, Sergeant Holly Rudd knows she’s an unwelcome presence in the close-knit community of Bamfield. But she doesn’t expect the residents to be spooked by the mere sight of her. What rattles Holly even more, though, is her overwhelming desire for diver and former Special Forces soldier Finn Carver. Finn has no doubt that the corpse he found while diving was a victim of foul play - just as there’s no doubt that he wants Holly.

Historia
When Marissa is found brutally murdered, with her young daughter, Haley, resting her head on her mother's bloody breast, she sends the idyllic California town of Oak Knoll into a tailspin. Already on edge with the upcoming trial of the See- No-Evil killer, residents are shocked by reports of the crime scene, which might not have been discovered for days had it not been for a chilling 911 call: a small child's voice saying, "My daddy hurt my mommy."
