There was no way he was going to settle for a boring life, but over time, the thirst for excitement was replaced with a longing for something more. A friend takes him aside in the heat of battle and asks him if he has a faith. And for the first time, John Bunyan hears about the only way to get to heaven, which is through the Lord Jesus Christ and his sacrifice on the cross.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book! It was entertaining, brilliantly weaving the Word of God with British history in a very accessible and important story. Rings true today and contains important takeaways. I would absolutely recommend,
