Disappointing End.
Revisado: 01-18-25
It saddens me to write such a review, but this novel was a huge disappointment! Especially when one considers the amazing narration and narrative of the first two books, this one fell short of the mark by a long shot. I am not sure why the author decided to switch the protagonist in the story as the story took too long to unfold. In the end, the story ended on a note that was positive, but the journey there was long, boring at times, and utterly perplexing due to the switch of the protagonist, which I do believe impacts the storyline.

Historia
Ashok Vadal was once a member of the highest caste in all of Lok. As a Protector, he devoted his life to upholding the Law, rooting out those who still practiced the old ways and delivering justice with his ancestor blade Angruvadal. None was more merciless than he in stamping out the lingering belief in gods and demons among the casteless. His brutality was legendary and celebrated. But soon Ashok learned that his life to that point had been a lie. He himself, senior member of the Protector Order, was casteless. He had been nothing more than an unwitting pawn in a political game.

Breathtaking Storyline!
Revisado: 07-19-24
Book 2 was the an epic follow up to the the first book! This storyline was engaging, increasingly captivating, and fairly balanced! This is definitely a MUST read book! The storyline is a combination of Divergent (series), Game of Thrones, and the The Witcher.
The narrator does provide and elevated state of mind and emotions to the text. Making the text a lot more engulfing and interesting. The storyline smoothly picks up where the first book leaves off and truly will have you anticipating for what’s next to come!

Enlightening read for political junkies!
Revisado: 10-01-22
Barack Obama’s A Promised Land was a tantalizing and exceptional read, especially for the politically connected, inclined, and inspired! Not only does the book provide more background details, it also does an exceptional job tying both his book and Michelle Obama‘s recent book together. The book gives the reader a natural first-person look into the political life of the two-term Commander In Chief! Hearing about the ups and downs of both his campaign for the position of president of the United States of America and an insight during. A Promised Land was both inspiring and motivating for those willing to undertake the journey of reading it…A must read indeed because it further humanizes a person who was once the most powerful man on this earth for a time being.

Different from the others.
Revisado: 09-10-22
This story was a bit different from the two previous book both in flow and performance in my opinion. The author did a great job picking up from the precious story line , but I personally was not as excited about this book due to the change in flow and the narrator. I feel in love with the story because of the story line AND true precious narrator(s$. It was evident that the characters were evolving both emotionally and physically and maybe that’s where the narrator lost me. However, was still a good read!
