BEYOND ANNOYING FMC!!!

I have never had to hit pause and walk away so many times. Since the entire series focuses mainly on the FMC, you couldn’t skip through every chapter and it’s not in me to purchase a book and not finish it. Yes I have listened to several books with annoying main characters but the FMC here was much more than annoying. I can’t imagine 1 man tolerating her, much less 4 and all of them club officers! BUYER BEWARE!! Safe your credit !

Wrong Narrator

Would have been a solid 5 if the narrator had been male, especially since the entire story is from Shade’s POV!

Troy Duran is one of my favorite narrators but the female narrator ruined the story. Half way through I had to skip Sailor’s chapter’s just to get through the book. Her character was very immature, which was confusing since she took on raising her sisters son. Compared to the rest of the series, this book was a disappointment

Should have been a box set

The story was OK. Unless you are willing to waste 3 credits to get to the end, don’t even bother. I’ve listened to hundreds of books and I must say that very few series I truly consider just stopping in the middle just to save a credit for something that is worth my time. Sadly this is one of those.

Story was fantastic but. . .

The story was great but narrators didn’t match the characters. Especially the female character. I can’t see the successful lawyer speaking with such little confidence. Don’t get me started on the sentence delivery, one word, pause, another word then this whole conversation in her head. I had to speed it up when she spoke. This book was more about Rachel and her insecurities . She really wasn’t likeable. Yes, what happened to her was horrible but I don’t know how someone can go through that and be so judgmental! There are other characters in the series who also suffered but make you root for them, cry with them and who you can relate to. Then there’s Rex who is a Prez but won’t stand up to Rachel..weak! I’m really hoping in the next book “Rachel” the story line will show a better side to both Rachel & Rex! 🤷🏻‍♀️

I couldn’t get past Marisol’s character. I didn’t see her as a strong female but as a Narcissist. I also would of liked to have seen more of Gunner and Reaper’s character. The story had so much potential but fell short! I kept hoping it would get better. 😔 Troy Duran is always amazing.

Loved books 1-5 but …

I truly enjoyed books 1-5, however according to the author there are no future books in production for audible. This is really disappointing since there are 15 books in this series.

Fell Asleep 3X’s-Enough said

The characters were so unbelievable. Really isn’t worth the credit. I won’t even get started on the female character. I really was expecting more alpha type characters from undercover DEA agents. This far into the series, I expected more. Good listening if you have trouble sleeping, this book will help.

Horrible Narrator

The narrator ruined the entire series, especially the female narrator. The series could of been better if there were better narrators, it distracted from the story.

Palilalia
