Not as captivating as the first two

This series started out really well. Very captivating… I could quit listening. This 3rd book, I struggled to get through it. I feel like both Violet and Xaiden lost their edge. It definitely could have been done in half the amount of chapters. Overall the series was 4 out of 5 stars. If there is a next book… I might wait to listen/read.

this book series imo was not the authors best. Meghan is one of my favorite authors and this series just felt unnecessary. it's almost like there was a dead line so it was just thrown together. the rawness of the beneath series is where uou hooked me. I was so excited to hear about the other characters from that and you did show us. imo...I feel like Rhodes should have been the hero. I was REALLLLLY hoping the mystery man from the club was. and then having Magnolia be in love with someone who was not described hardly at all was disappointing too. especially since she eneded up with someone 10x better in her series. I will have to refund a credit for this last book...it didn't keep my attention and honeslty just wasn't worth my listening time. I still LOVE all of her other books. just this series fell flat. ❤

Not too sure how to feel about this one.

If I'm being honest, the only reason I used a credit on this book is because I saw that Andy Arndt was one of the narrators. Because in my mind, if Andy is narrating, its gonna be good. Now I have listened to quite a few of Kendall Ryans books and enjoyed them immensely. But I am REALLY struggling on this one. Tim Paige isn't a narrator that I am very familiar with, and he did a good job. However, my struggle with this book is that I'm not sure IF it was Tim's narration, or the content. AGAIN I very much enjoy Kendall Ryans books, but this one seemed a little "porny" if you will. Not just because of Cades "side job." Andy's narration was great...everything I would have hoped for and have come to expect from her, but Tim's part just baffles me. I can't decide if it was the way he narrated his parts or the content. This struggle im having took away from me really being able to fully enjoy one of Kendalls books. IDK maybe I need to listen to it again, but it truly has me baffled. I'm giving the narration 4 stars because of Andy. And I'm going to find some other books that Tim has narrated, and maybe see if that will help me decide what felt off about this book.
