Horst has really outdone himself this time, with a boring plot, A procedural novel that doesn't proceed, And a mystery so scary and enthralling that it might be best used to put young children to sleep. Fans of this author may feel that this howling dog of a tale is another in a long line serviceable murder stories, but who are these people that read this stuff time after time anyway?
