Lack of quality control

It is obvious that this performance by RC Bray was rushed and not edited well. It takes Bray a while to find the character voices. I am 5 hours in and he is just now getting back into the swing of previous performances.

This I can overlook. What I can't overlook is the multpile mispronunciations and flat out wrong word use that have occurred. Clearly the editors and others whose job it is to quality check have failed.

Which is a shame given that this is the series finale. It is also not fair to RC Bray. He has a well earned reputation as an top tier narrator. I would have gladly continued to wait for this release in exchange for a better performance.

Couldn't get into this

The writing pace is both slow, overly and unnecessarily repetitively descriptive and also fast, jumbled, and jumpy scene transitions.

The narrator didn't make the transitions easier to follow with his monotone delivery.

Chapters were crazy short like James Patterson.

Main character jumps to conclusions with zero evidence as a way to move the lackluster plot.

There is so much better content out there than to waste your time with this work. Returned.

Terrible voice actors and misogyny

Couldn't get through the 2nd episode. I don't waste my time with authors who think that calling men feminine names is insulting. The main voice actor had awful timing and enunciation.

Wow, not 30 seconds into it and I am returning.

How do narrators mess up so bad by not learning or remembering how they pronounced the main characters name? Not 30 seconds and I was so annoyed that I stopped the book and am returning it after this review. The narrator called Dominika Egorova, Dominica (as Dominican Republic) and I can't even think to spell out how he mispronounced the last name. Now, if the author contacted the narrator and had him say this way....fine. But I can't listen to it. I will have to get the ebook to continue this series.

Narrator ruined this book

This is one of my all time favorite books but this performance was completely unlistenable.

Couldn't finish this one

At first this seemed like a tongue in cheek comedy but it quickly devolved into all sorts of crass tropes. An insult is calling someone gay or a woman. The main character is a brash "manly" man. The author even used the word liberal as an insult. As another reviewer stated, this reads like Fox and Friends tried to write a comedy. I want my time back.
