Historia
In Hate Crime Hoax, professor Wilfred Reilly examines over 100 widely publicized incidents of so-called hate crimes that never actually happened. With a critical eye and attention to detail, Reilly debunks these fabricated incidents - many of them alleged to have happened on college campuses - and explores why so many Americans are driven to fake hate crimes. We're not experiencing an epidemic of hate crimes, Reilly concludes - but we might be experiencing an unprecedented epidemic of hate crime hoaxes.

Disturbing
Revisado: 08-16-19
I am half way through the book and I am appreciating the well documented and referenced work by the author. I would like to see a PDF with references for quickly searching them. The gullibility and manipulation of people is "disturbing". Unfortunately, there is a major bias in most reporting and articles. Sometimes it is subtle and occasionally overt and intentional. In medical articles they now have an assessment of bias, in the better peer reviewed journals. Something similar should occur in the news media. We have blurred the lines between news and entertainment/opinion.

Stimulating
Revisado: 08-08-19
Although I detected a strong dislike of the current President, I felt that the author used current references to make her points. She has some valid points and overall this is a stimulating book. I would recommend it for someone trying to understand some current debates regarding citizen's "Rights".

Historia
As Bill Clinton's political and business mentor, Jim McDougal, with his knowledge of embarrassing real-estate and banking deals, bribes, and obstructions of justice, long haunted the White House. McDougal's vivid self-portrait, completed only days before his death and coauthored by veteran journalist Curtis Wilkie, reveals the hidden intersections of politics and special interests in Arkansas and the betrayals that followed.

Death Bed Biography
Revisado: 08-08-19
This is a revisionist biography. The title is totally misleading. If my memory is correct, the Clinton's were first mentioned in Chapter 8. I don't blame McDougal for wanting to tell his story, his way, at the end of his life. However, I fault Wilkie for letting this book drone on with a totally misleading concept.

Campaigning
Revisado: 08-08-19
I agree with other reviews. This is campaign propoganda. Fortunately, it did show her bias attitude; allowing me to check her off my list for Presidential contenders. One of the few books in 10 years that I did not completely read.

Boring

I am half way through the book and have only heard a list of terms such as "VPN" with no detailed explanation. Writer may be knowledgeable but presentation is similar to fictional grammar school teacher.
