Great for conversational German

One of the distinguishing features of a typical intermediate language speaker is their conversational skills. Being at a basic proficiency with grammar, syntax and a bit of pronunciation is not enough; to achieve intermediate competence, fluency must be achieved at conversational level. This is what this book aims to achieve for its listeners as regards the German language. It presents well-organized stories that are paced at a conversational level. The sequence of stories have an increasing complexity about them, and this is great for consistent improvement in speaking and understanding the German language. Ultimately, practice is the key to mastery, but these stories will get the listener to the gate.

I loved the stories in this book, the narration, and the overall concept. While Brazilian Portuguese is not the easiest language to learn, this book certainly takes a good crack at it. Highly recommended.

A fast track for Spanish starters.

This is an excellent resource for learning Spanish. For a beginner, the most likely obstacles would be the mastery of conjugation and other similar grammar syntax. Afterwards, vocabulary is key! This book provides a conceptual introduction to a majority of the Spanish vocabulary with about 2000 common words. I think the way the words are introduced are meant to help the learner deal with the simpler and most common ones first. Overall, learning with this book is a sure way to learn the language; interacting with native speakers is also a recommended practice.

A really effective confidence booster

This book of affirmations was just up to my expectations. The content is very specific at helping the listener discard negative energies, which limits productivity; with the right attitude and confidence, a lot can be accomplished. This is the aim of this book, and I agree that it may easily help any listener enter that desired frame of mind. It also helps that the narration is smooth and soft.

This book was given to me freely as a review copy. This review is, however, my own opinion on this book's potential for change/transformation.

Excellent book!

I am planning a trip to France in a few months, and wanted to improve my basic comprehension of the French language. I love how the book presents the dialogues, the pace of learning and the approach to teaching. This has been very useful for me, and I already feel more confident about my social interactions in French.
