Historia
The only life Tress has known on her island home in an emerald-green ocean has been a simple one, with the simple pleasures of collecting cups brought by sailors from faraway lands and listening to stories told by her friend Charlie. But when his father takes him on a voyage to find a bride and disaster strikes, Tress must stow away on a ship and seek the Sorceress of the deadly Midnight Sea. Amid the spore oceans where pirates abound, can Tress leave her simple life behind and make her own place sailing a sea where a single drop of water can mean instant death?

Children's book, should be mentioned as such.
Revisado: 05-19-24
Sanderson presumedly wrote it as a present to his wife, but that was probably so she could read it aloud for their children at bedtime or something. Both story and performance make it a children's book. Should have been categorised as such, next to the Rithmatist. For a childrens' book it is really good, for adults it get's a low rating.

Was this really Brandon writing, or the Sandersson Studio?…
Revisado: 12-21-22
It felt constructed. like a Netflix algorithm-written sequel to a successful first season. all the ingredients and actors are there, the plot is there with plenty action, but it lacks the something that made his earlier books ‘real’ and personal, and especially surprising. This was stale.

Historia
Mistborn: Secret History is a companion story to the original Mistborn trilogy. As such, it contains huge spoilers for the books Mistborn (The Final Empire), The Well of Ascension and The Hero of Ages. It also contains very minor spoilers for the book The Bands of Mourning. Mistborn: Secret History builds upon the characterisation, events and worldbuilding of the original trilogy. Listening to it without that background will be a confusing process at best.

A very rare equal to Jordan and Sanderson
Revisado: 10-11-17
The claim is made many times but rarely true. The trilogy has no weak points.

Historia
It has been 20 years since the end of the war. The dictatorial Augurs, once thought of almost as gods, were overthrown and wiped out during the conflict, their much-feared powers mysteriously failing them. Those who had ruled under them, men and women with a lesser ability known as the Gift, avoided the Augurs' fate only by submitting themselves to the rebellion's Four Tenets.

There's never been a better time to be a woman: we have the vote and the Pill, and we haven't been burnt as witches since 1727. However, a few nagging questions do remain...Why are we supposed to get Brazilians? Should you get Botox? Do men secretly hate us? What should you call your vagina?

Must read, especially for men (yes I am a man...)
Revisado: 06-04-12
From a literature standpoint there may be things to criticize, basically that is 'too much' here and there. But the tone is light, Caitlin is frank and at the end of the day very sharp and refreshingly original on a very very important subject of which we should all be more conscious of.
