the book was like usual, amazing. the audiobook though. wowza. so much more jam packed emotion and feels. the narrators were great as always.

what an epic and amazing end to this specific series. it's wraps so much to, but leaves us with so much to explore going forward.

not the worst but not the best either

the story had a chance at being exceptional I think. It has a small twist to Quinn and I really love it. I love the nerdxjock trope and I like that Quinn needs help learning to socialize. it makes the relationship between Quinn and Kage start off pretty good.
And then we get the push and pull multiple time throughout the book. I get the break up trope, but it happens at every tiny inconvience or issue. which gets old quickly.
Quinn genuinely just gets a crappy hand for the story and he honestly deserves better.
book ends on a slight cliffhanger, if it can be called that. but it's actually kind of abrupt.

expect the unexpected in this book. with enough twists and turns to keep you listening, it has everything you need. spice, angst, pining, a past coming back to bite our MMCs.

I loved reading this book and I was super excited to finally get the audio!
The story was brought to life by the narrator so we'll. with each character entering the story with different voices which matched them all perfectly.

the book was an incredibly emotional read. And like I always say imo the narrators knocked it out of the park. they gave so much more depth and emotion to the characters and situations.

we know from book 1 how unhinged the queen is... whelp it gets 10x worse. adding more people to the new tribe is cause for concern from how to make sure they survive to making sure they are hidden from the queen.
but the choice is taken out of Kehtahn's hands in this book.

leave it to Fae Quin to write amazing book AND have amazing narrators for her book. Liam is always a knock out in his performance and Stephen did amazing for Rooster. Perfect pairing and chemistry and outstanding story.
